1. I’m new to Pilates. Can I join any class?

All first-time clients are required to attend our SenseStart class. It’s specially designed to introduce you to the Reformer, teach you proper form, and build a safe foundation before joining other classes.

2. What’s the difference between group, duet, and private sessions?

Group Class: Up to 4 clients per class, guided in a small and focused setting.
Duet Session: A shared session for 2 people — perfect for friends or partners.
Private Session: One-on-one training tailored to your personal needs, goals, or recovery.

3. How long is each class?

All classes at MakeSense are 50 minutes long.

4. What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable activewear and grip socks for your safety and hygiene. If you don’t have grip socks, we have them available for purchase at the studio.

5. Do you offer trial classes?

Yes! We offer a one-time trial class for new clients. It’s a great way to get a feel for our space and instructors before committing to a package.

6. How do I book a class?

You can book any class online through our booking system. Just choose your session type and time, and reserve your spot.

7. What’s your cancellation policy?

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel less than 12 hours before your scheduled class or miss your session, the class will be deducted from your package or charged as a no-show.

8. Can I join if I have an injury or medical condition?

Yes, but we recommend starting with a private session so we can better understand your condition and tailor the class to your needs. Always consult with your healthcare provider before beginning a new exercise routine.

9. How many people are in a group class?

To keep our sessions personal and effective, our group classes are limited to just 4 clients per class.

10. Do class packages expire?

Yes, all packages come with an expiry period. The validity will be shown during purchase. Be sure to check before buying!

11. Do you offer nutrition or diet support?

Yes! We offer 1-on-1 consultations with a certified dietitian to support your wellness goals — whether you’re focused on weight management, digestion, hormonal health, or fuelling your fitness routine.

12. How long is a consultation?

Initial consultations are usually 45–60 minutes, and follow-ups are around 30 minutes.

13. Do I need to be a Pilates client to book a consultation?

Nope! Our dietitian services are open to everyone, whether or not you attend our classes.

14. How do I book a consultation?
